Sylvère Azoulai began his photography career about twenty years ago after a very successful career as a physical therapist!

After having shot a series of the greatest Jazz legends in 1993, his lifelong passion for photography became a professional career. That particular series became an exhibition that ran for nearly ten years in several European countries.

Sylvere’s technically ambitious approach to photography brought him to shoot for the most prestigious luxury brands and clients in the world including Chanel, Lancôme, Valentino, Cartier, Nespresso, Hugo Boss, Clinique and Estee Lauder. His inventive editorial work has appeared in publications including Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, GQ, V and Pop.

His work has also been included in a noteworthy book published in 2000 called “Archeology of Elegance” published by Rizzoli.

Sylvère resides in New York with his wife and three children. He shares his time between the Big Apple and Paris.
